Whether people see it or not, the reality is a lot of animals around the world are deeply suffering because they are being mistreated, or simply misunderstood. Veterinarian Joana Soares is on a mission to help change that reality.
Joana is a passionate, dedicated, intuitive doctor of animals, first inspired by her own dog, Lucky, and her special interest is in helping pets and their owners to form a deeply connected bond. With a strong connection they can intuitively communicate or “tune in together” to support each other on their mutual healing journey.
She accepted this pioneering calling when she started noticing a strong correlation between the health of pets, their owners and their families during her clinical observations. This became the foundational idea behind Joana’s innovative concept of the LovePair, which focuses on the love, compassion and communication between pets and owners as an important contributor to their respective wellbeing.
